Podcast: The Laos-China Railway as a Development Corridor along the Belt and Road

In this new webcast / podcast from the Belt and Road Institute in Sweden, Professor Chen Xiangming, Director of Urban Studies Program and Distinguished Professor of Global Urban Studies and Sociology at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut (USA) shares with host Hussein Askary his profound knowledge of the impact of infrastrcuture on economic development.

He uses the China-Laos Railway (CLR) as a pedagogical example. He then expands the view to the whole globe, giving examples from different parts of the world.
